Music at Good Shepherd

The Adult Choir of Good Shepherd sings Sunday mornings at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Their role is to help lead in worship through song. They sing a variety of repertoire from Tallis and Bach to contemporary composers. Their high-energy rehearsals are on Wednesday nights at 7 p.m.Adult Choir Rehearsal

The Early Service Music Team meets about once a month to practice for leading worship at the 8:30 a.m. worship service. A group of dedicated members with varying levels of experience allows for the contemporary service to be meaningful through music.

The Adult Handbell Choir meets on Monday nights at 6:15 p.m. Good Shepherd owns three octaves of Malmark Bells which are used in worship quite often. The Adult Handbell Choir has a variety of participants with varying levels of experience.

The Youth Handbell Choir meets on Mondays at 5:15 p.m. Relatively new to Good Shepherd, this group of youth from grades 6 through 12 plays in worship about once a month.

The Children's Choir meets on Sunday mornings during the Sunday School hour, which begins at 9:25 a.m. This is a chance for the children of Good Shepherd to learn about worship and music. The children sing in worship about once a month. Fun activities for these children also are scheduled often.
