Mission Statement   Good Shepherd Lutheran Church believes in child care as a ministry.  The mission of our program is to provide care for children in a Christian environment conducive to meeting the children's needs for healthy physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development.  Our mission reflects Jesus' words in Matthew 19:14, "let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs."

Program Goal Good Shepherd Day School Ministry strives to offer affordable, high quality childcare for children of church members and community persons in a developmentally appropriate, stimulating and nurturing environment which fosters Christian faith.

Fee Schedule: Rates effective 6-30-2002 This program serves children from 6 weeks of age through 5 years.

Program fees Annual Registration Fee (non-refundable): $75.00 Mat and Sheet Fee (one-time): $20.00 Reservation Fee (applied to first month's bill): $100.00

Full Time Students The full time program is available for children from 6 weeks through 5 years. Hours for the full time program are 7:30 am to 5:30 pm. Full time rates will be billed for a child who attends 30 hours or more in one week.

Infants and toddlers (through 24 months):  $107.00 weekly or $460.00 monthly Ages 2 through 4 $95.00 weekly or $410.00 monthly

Other fees: Late fees (per child) for payments not received by the 10th of the month Late fees (per child) for payments not received by the 10th of the month  $15.00 Returned check fee $20.00 A late fee of $1.00 per minute will be charged for any child not picked up by 5:30 pm. Fees will be doubled on the 3rd occurrence and enrollment will be terminiated on the 4th occurrence. There is no reduction in tuition for absences, holidays, vacations, etc. Tuition and fees are due in advance on the first of the month/week regardless of whether a bill is received. New students will have the last 2 weeks escrowed during the first 8 weeks of enrollment.

Part Time Students This program serves children from two years of age through five years. The hours of the part time program are 8:30 am to 12 pm.Part time monthly tuition Ages 2 through 4 $190.00 extended care fee is $4.00 per hour (or fraction of an hour). Other fees Late charge (per child) if payment is not received by the 10th of the month: $15.00 Returned check charge : $20.00 Any child dropped off before 8:25 am and/or not picked up by 12:05 will incur extended care charges. Late pick up fees or $1.00 per minute will be charged for any child not picked up by 5:30 pm. Fees will be doubled on the 3rd occurrence and enrollment will be terminated on the 4th occurrence.
