Adult Choirs
9:30AM SUNDAYS
The Adult Choir is the primary choir of the congregation, contributing to the worship leadership of the 10:45 service. They are known for their high-quality and their ability to sing challenging pieces of music. They sing a variety of repertoire, from Tallis and Bach to contemporary composers and spirituals. They also rehearse creative settings of the psalms and hymns for worship. They rehearse on Wednesdays at 7:00 to 8:30pm.
SPECIAL SERVICES
There is need for a choir during special occasions, most notably during funerals. If you are willing to lend your voice for these special circumstances, please speak with our Interim Music Director, Jim Johnson.

Children's Choirs
There are two children's choirs at GSLC, divided by age. Children in K–3rd Grade meet Sundays at 5:30 p.m. until 6:15 p.m.; children in 4th Grade and up meet Sundays at 6:15 p.m. until 6:45 p.m. The Children’s Choir sings for worship about once a month. Each week we not only learn new music but also how to sing and read music. This is a strong faith formation activity as we have many conversations about the choir’s role, basics of the Bible and worship, and how to look for God in all things. Your child will grow immensely in our Children’s Choir program.
